Weight Loss

"I just had a baby"

Thats been  my excuse for 15 months now.
15 months.

Before having a baby I was a whopping 125 lbs. Now that might sound like a reasonable weight for some. For me it was where I was happy. I'm 5'9"...looking back at my pre-baby pictures I find myself beind disgusted at how small I was.

Unhealthy.

But now I find myself on the opposite end. I'm not digustingly obese, but at the same time I am not happy with how I look or how I feel. Since having tatum I have not really watched what or I ate or worked out (except for a short period before Army Man came home on leave this last deployment)
I have slowly gained and lost a few pounds...and feel like poop.

I finally got my wake up call about a week ago. I went to my annual Who-Ha check up where they did the regular weight-in and routine. I didn't really pay attention to what the scale had to say. They did there thing, handed me a paper and I left. The next day as my husband was getting home he had a huge smirk on his face.

Immediately my guard was up....Army Man doesn't usually come home for work with a grin on his face unless he's bought something he wasn't suppose to or he wants to play video games.

"What?"
"I know how much you weigh"

First I thought he's full of crap...How could he possibly know how much I weight..we don't have a scale at home and I haven't told him? Did he talk to my doctor?

This was a big deal because I have refused to tell him how much I weigh...ever.

"158"
"How in the heck do you know this"

Apparently my doctor, whom I now am plotting her demise, had written down my blood pressure, prescription refills, AND STINKING WEIGHT on the piece of paper she had given me...which I had thrown on the floor of my car.....which my snoop husband had found!!

There you have it....my husband now know my weight. I am determined to get down to the weight I want to be at and keep that weight a secret once again. Also I will be burning any paper the doctor gives me from now on (only slightly kidding).

What work out routines do you have? and are there any doughtnut eating diets I should know about. Hope to see you back here soon!!

  1. Jillian Michaels is BOSS at what she does!
I did the 30 Day Shred workout DVD while my hubby was off at BMT and I didn't lose much weight, but I was ripped! Hellooooo abs!
I also use this really handy calorie counter app on my phone: My Fitness Pal (they have a website too). So far I'm down 9 pounds (give or take a few pounds depending on the day). Best of luck with your weightloss journey!
